Payments to the City of Willernie for Utilities

The City of Willernie takes checks, cash or money orders for the utility payments. You can write checks online and have them sent to the city via the bank if you choose this method. There is a slot in the door at city hall you can drop payments in, however, you should put the cash or checks in an envelope with the City of Willernie on the envelope.

The city does not take credit cards simply to keep the cost to residents down since there are fees attached when credit and debit cards are used.

All utility bills are sent out quarterly and you have 30 days to pay the amount. If nothing is paid on the account in 30 days a 10% fine is charged to the account.

If nothing is paid on the utilities and the amount is over $500 due it will be assessed to your property taxes in December. In order to avoid this situation, the utility bill needs to be brought current by December 15th of the year.
